The short version

Some links on this site lead to other companies. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it never changes the price you pay.

How we mark these links

Whenever we use an affiliate link we:

• mark the link with rel="sponsored" in the page source,
• show a clear disclosure above the links so you can see it before you click, and
• never hide an affiliate link inside ordinary text or pretend it is an independent recommendation.

What we never do

• We do not accept payment to write a positive review.
• We do not invent customer testimonials. The reviews on this site come from real subscribers, or they are not published at all.
• We do not recommend products we have not checked the specifications for.
• We do not bid on your behalf in an auction when you buy something we linked to.

How we choose what to link to

We only link to products we would use ourselves, and we check the specifications against the manufacturer's own documentation before recommending anything. Where a product is superseded or discontinued, we say so.

Does this change your price?

No. The price you pay is exactly the price shown by the retailer. Our commission comes out of what the retailer already pays us, not out of your pocket.
